This property was in need of some serious TLC and had clearly not been adequately modernised since the day it was built.
Completed in early 2018 our scope was to asses a number of changes and assist our client on the recovery of monies expended facilitating their clients requests.
This exciting project comprises of the creation of a brand new retirement village located within a stone’s throw of Titchfield; and less than 2 miles from Junction 9 of the M27 in the beautiful countryside of Hampshire spread over 17 acres.
The refurbishment included the installation of new windows and doors, electrics, plumbing and heating. The original fire place and beams where also sand blasted to breath some new life back into them removing hundreds of years of wear and tear. Old stud walls removed and new ceilings installed.
Commencing on site in October 2017 the facility is part of a roll out by Hampshire County Council to provide adult care for patients transitioning from a full time medical care back into an assisted living environment.
The design includes high tech features such as Photovoltaic energy harvesting utilising the suns energy coupled with a comprehensive heat recovery system to help reduce the day to day running costs, all of which have been designed into the buildings fabric.
Our professional team worked closely with the banks, monitoring the quantity surveyor and the builder to ensure a streamlined commercial process was achieved.
The conversion required an extension strip out of the aging print works and a major overhaul of the former house to the front previously utilised for the business’s office.
